The Best Makeup Remover Is In Your Pantry

Daphne Oz Posts Coconut Oil Makeup Remover

I show you all all the time how I put on makeup, but here’s how I take it off, using nothing but regular coconut oil!

Step 1: Rinse as much makeup off as you can with warm water.
Step 2: Warm a teaspoon of coconut oil in your hands and massage it all around to loosen even waterproof makeup. Really get in there!
Step 3: Take a wet washcloth (or even a damp paper towel) and wipe your face.

An organic and minimally processed (cold pressed is best) coconut oil contains no gross chemical residue, perfumes, or additives. It’s naturally antibacterial and antimicrobial, so it keeps blemishes away. And it’s not hydrating or stripping, so it works on all skin types! Feel free to wash your face after (or not) or add moisturizer (or not).
